Unmistakably Follow.
Follow makes wakeboard impact vests engineered for the way you actually ride. Whether you're behind the boat, at the cable park, on a wake surf board or stepping into foil, the right impact vest gives you comfort, mobility and the confidence to commit. Every vest in this range is built on Follow's Featherweight Foam Dual-Layer construction and tested on-body, in the water, before it ever ships.

Wakeboard impact vest FAQ
How should a wakeboard impact vest fit?
An impact vest should fit snug, not restrictive. Raise your arms overhead — the vest should stay in place without riding up past your ribs. About two fingers' worth of slack between the zipper and your chest is right. Follow's Tapered, Relaxed and Tailored fits are designed for different body shapes; see our fit guide for sizing details.
What's the difference between an impact vest and a life jacket?
An impact vest is CE-marked to EN ISO 12402-5 (50N buoyancy) and gives flotation plus impact cushioning for active wake, wake surf and foil riding. A higher-buoyancy life jacket is CE-marked to EN ISO 12402-4 (100N) or EN ISO 12402-3 (150N) and is intended for general boating or open-water use. Follow makes both — impact vests for active riding, and CE-certified life jackets for boat-driven sports and tow craft where higher buoyancy is preferred.
Is a 50N impact vest legal on EU waters?
Yes. EU impact vests for wakeboarding and tow-sports are CE-marked to EN ISO 12402-5 (50N). All Follow Impact Vests sold in the EU meet this standard. They are not a substitute for a higher-buoyancy life jacket in offshore or open-water conditions where increased buoyancy is required.
Can I use a Follow impact vest for wake surf and foil?
Yes. Our impact vests are engineered for wake, wake surf and foiling. The Tapered and Tailored Duo fits are tuned for wakeboarding; the Corset fit is preferred by many wake surfers for freedom of arm movement. The Featherweight Foam construction is light enough for foil without sacrificing protection.
