Wakeboard Helmet Construction
Follow wakeboard helmets are engineered specifically for the impact profile of tow-sports — cable falls, boat sets, wake surf wipeouts and foil. Multi-density EVA shell, drainage vents and the Truefit Liner system inside.
All Follow wakeboard helmets sold in the EU are CE-marked under the relevant water-sports impact standard.
Frequently asked questions
What is multi-density EVA in a wakeboard helmet?
Multi-density EVA is a layered foam construction where harder EVA absorbs the initial impact and softer EVA distributes the force across the shell. It's engineered for the specific impact profile of tow-sports — different from bicycle, snowboard or skate helmets.
Why does a wakeboard helmet need drainage vents?
Drainage vents let water escape after a fall so the helmet doesn't sit full of water through your next set. Follow's vent placement is tuned to drain quickly while keeping the impact structure intact.
Are Follow wakeboard helmets CE-certified?
Yes. Follow wakeboard helmets sold in the EU are CE-marked under the relevant water-sports impact standard. The certification documents are available on request through customer service.
Can I replace the Truefit Liner pads?
Yes — Follow Pro helmets ship with multiple pad thicknesses so you can fine-tune the fit. Replacement liner kits are also available through Follow stockists. Run thicker pads for a smaller head, thinner pads as you dial it in.
